I've given this book 3 stars for these reasons,
(1) I found it hard to get in to and hard to releate to Kaye, she seemed so stand ofish all the time.
(2) I was getting way too confused, one sentence your talking to Kaye's friend Janet and than your in a graveyard with a completely different person and I had to go back pages to make sure I hadn't missed anything and that for me is when I put a book down.
(3) It took too long to get going and then it just seemed rushed, nothing seemed to flow the characters didn't seem to fit together and I found it lacking.
The storyline was a great idea and thats proberly what kept me reading till the end and that I wanted to read what happened, but there wasn't much description given to any of the enviroments and I just couldn't picture any of it.
I found the characters to be lacking in personnality and wondered why most of them were even written in.
I was surprised at how quick Kaye was to accept finding out what she was and how quick Corny was to believe.
I would have liked a little more time spent on the faerie courts themselfs but that could happen in the next I'll just have to wait and see.
All in all I was a little dissapointed in this book but did enjoy the concept so may try the second 1.
