The Rising
I was disappointed with this book, and after the first one was expecting alot considering that book 2 was about Dracula rising thats if you go by the title. I found it to be more of a flash book about most of the main characters and all the jumping back in time started to make my head spin and I found myself losing interast.When the read up said it was about Dracula rising and taking revenge more or less I expected action and chaos instead flash back book.
I started to find Jamie annoying in this book, unlike the first book were I liked his strong character in this one he just came across as been a whiny teenager who sulked if he didn't get his own way.
There were some nice surprises in the book and it would have been good to expand on them.
I will be reading the next one and hope that the action of the first book is brought back.
